Remembrance Sunday Eucharist and Ceremonies

Sunday 10 November - 10am

A very special day in the life of this country for young and old - we celebrate the Eucharist during which wreaths are presented by all our Parish groups, and then, as 11am approaches, we focus our thoughts on those who have given their lives in all conflicts, and enter the full ceremonies associated with Remembrance Sunday. Following the two minutes silence, the Parish wreath will be laid at the War Memorial, and we shall process out into the gardens, where, led by the Vicar on behalf of the parish, we will plant poppy crosses underneath the East Windows in tribute to the fallen. Do join us for this solemn, but very fulfilling act of national unity.
